Day 1 : Depart for Peloponnese via Corinth Canal (Short Stop) . We visit Ancient Corinth, Mycenae and Nafplion (overnight)
Day 2 : Explore Nafplio, continue to Sparta (Acropolis & Museum). Further visit the medieval town of Mystras. Drive via Mount Taygetus to Ancient Olympia (overnight)
Day 3 : Explore Ancient Olympia ( Sie & Museum). Drive to Central Greece via Rio- Anirio Bridge. Visit the unique coastal towns of Naupactus and Galaxidi. Overnight on mount Parnassus.
Day 4 : Explore Delphi, Apollo: Oracle, Athena’s Temple, Museum. Depart for Levadia (visit Krya Springs) and Thebes, return to Athens.

The marvelous man-made Corinth canal connecting the Aegean and Ionian seas, as well as the Peloponnese peninsula with the central part of Greece.
Ancient Corinth was one of the largest and most important cities of Greece, with a population of 90,000 in 400 BC. The Romans demolished Corinth in 146 BC, built a new city in its place in 44 BC, and later made it the provincial capital of Greece.
The Acropolis of Mycenae, is the kingdom of the mythical Agamemnon and the most important and richest palatial center of the Late Bronze Age in Greece.
Nafplio is a historical coastal town in the Peloponnese. The town was the capital of the First Hellenic Republic and of the Kingdom of Greece, from the start of the Greek Revolution in 1821 until 1834. Nafplion is the most picturesque town in mainland of Greece and we will stay here for overnight.
2nd Day. Depart after breakfast.
Nafplion Archaeological Museum is accommodated in the imposing in size as well as strict in symmetry, stone-built Venetian structure which covers and encases the central, Syntagma Square on its west side. It was first built in 1713, during the second reign of the Venetians.
Sparta Archaeological Museum comprises the oldest provincial archaeological museum of the country. Its neoclassical building was constructed between 1874 and 1876 in the center of the city.
Mystras is a fortified late-Byzantine city and a UNESCO World Heritage Monument located on the slopes of Mount Taygetos near Sparta. Often called the “Wonder of the Morea,” it served as the capital of the Byzantine Despotate of the Morea in the 14th and 15th centuries. During its golden age, it was the second most important city in the Byzantine Empire after Constantinople.

Ancient Olympia is one of the most influential ancient Greek sanctuaries. In antiquity it was famous beyond the borders of mainland Greece for hosting the Olympic Games every four years, starting in 776 BCE.
The site covers an expanded area of ruins scattered among low trees, as well as Zeus & Hera Temples, Fidias Workshop, Roman emperor Nero villa, the ancient stadium where the Olympics games took place and a lot more. An impressive array of artifacts which were unearthed during excavations are on exhibition at the nearby Olympia Museum
The Archaeological Museum of Olympia is one of Greece’s premier cultural institutions, housing the ancient treasures excavated from the sanctuary of Zeus at Olympia.
The Rio–Antirrio Bridge, officially the Charilaos Trikoupis Bridge, is one of the world’s longest multi-span cable-stayed bridges and longest of the fully suspended type. It crosses the Gulf of Corinth near Patras, linking the town of Rio on the Peloponnese peninsula to Antirrio on mainland Greece by road.
Nafpaktos, known as Lepanto during part of its history, is a coastal town situated on a bay on the north coast of the Gulf of Corinth.
Drive via Mount Parnassus in central Greece that towers above Delphi, north of the Gulf of Corinth, and offers scenic views of the surrounding olive groves and countryside. It was also sacred to Apollo and the Corycian nymphs, and it was the home of the Muses. Overnight on the slopes of this amazing mountain, in a traditional village

Delphi: Archaeological site & Museum. Visit at you leisure the sites of Apollo and Athena sanctuaries and Museum.
The Pythia: The title held by the high priestess who acted as Apollo’s mouthpiece. She delivered cryptic, poetic prophecies (oracles) while seated on a bronze tripod in the temple’s inner sanctum.
Athena’s Tholos: Situated in the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia (“Athena before the Temple”), located about half a mile southeast of the main Temple of Apollo. Today, three of its original columns have been re-erected, making it one of the most photographed ruins in Greece.
Arachova is a mountainous village nestling picturesquely at the foot of Mt. Parnassus. It is the most cosmopolitan winter destination in Greece, a great favorite for passionate ski lovers and celebrities, or just first-time visitors who wish to relax in a dreamy mountainous setting with modern tourism facilities.
Livadia Springs: Levadia Springs: Proceed to Levadia, a busy town and an important junction in the road network. Also an industrial center where its textile mills treat the cotton grown in the Copais valley. Short stop to visit the springs of Remembrance & Oblivion.
The Archaeological Museum of Thebes is one of the most important museums of Greece since some of its collections are rare or unique. The exhibits originate from excavations all around Boeotia and cover a long chronological period spanning from the Paleolithic to the Post Byzantine periods.
The Corinth Canal is a 6.3-kilometer (3.9-mile) , connecting the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea.
Ancient Corinth: Once a dominant, wealthy commercial powerhouse of the ancient world, this vast archaeological site contains the iconic Temple of Apollo (built around 550 BC).
Mycenae is an exceptionally important Late Bronze Age archaeological site in northeastern Peloponnese, Greece, located in the region of Argolis. Flourishing between 1600 BC and 1100 BC, it serves as the namesake for the Mycenaean civilization, which represented the first advanced, literate Greek society.
Nafplio (also spelled Nafplion or Nauplio) is a coastal city in the Peloponnese, it is widely celebrated as one of Greece’s most romantic, beautiful, and historic towns. Notably, it served as the first capital of modern independent Greece from 1828 until 1834, before the capital was moved to Athens.
Ancient Olympia is the historic birthplace of the Olympic Games and served as a major Panhellenic religious sanctuary. Site was primarily dedicated to Zeus, the king of the Greek gods. From 776 BC until the late 4th century AD, it brought the ancient Greek world together every four years under a sacred truce to celebrate athletic and spiritual excellence.

What should travelers bring with them?
Accommodation: Please book this tour, at least 2 weeks prior, as we need time to reserve rooms for you and your driver. Peloponnese is a very popular area and July August are very busy. * We can arrange accommodation for you in selected Boutique Hotels A’class or 3/4* Hotels with breakfast (additional cost from 160€ per double room / weekend-holidays 180€ per double room/ if more than 2 rooms 10% less. Driver’s room complimentary). If you wish to do your own hotel reservation, you need to reserve an extra room for your driver.
For Day or Overnight tours, we use taverns/restaurants (are family run – traditional Greek – offering best quality) and suggest hotels / mansions B&B (A’ class), which maintain the traditional style combining peace with luxury and cleanliness, with stunning views, in well chosen locations in the big cities or towns or in the beautiful mountains of the mainland.
For taverns and restaurants apart from the taste, tradition and value also played a part in our selection. And only the best coffee houses or cafes have been chosen, the places where we ourselves stop for a coffee or just a small break.
Important Note: A day tour or a long day tour can be effected from weather conditions or day light save hours. (End October – End March).
Gratuities in Greece: As the competition between companies and drivers is high, our offers cover our main costs (Fuels, road tolls, accommodation, taxes…etc). Tips in Greece, as all over Europe, are optional. However, a tip as a gesture of gratitude for good services offered is always appreciated. There is no standard amount, but depending on the trip’s total cost, this can range between 10% to 20% for daily tours or 5% to 10% for long tours.
