If you want to see everything that Athens has to offer, then we suggest to combine both modern & classical Athens sites in a full day tour. The day starts with convenient pickup from your location ( Athens – Piraeus – see pick up details) and then takes you to the Acropolis Hill, Zeus Temple, Olympic stadium, Plaka, Monastiraki, ancient & modern Agora, Lycavetus hill and many more.
Private tour schedule is flexible, but most importantly we can drive on small roads and you will see Athens from all different angles. - The Acropolis & Parthenon: The city’s crowning jewel, this ancient citadel features the Parthenon (dedicated to the goddess Athena), the Erechtheion with its famous Caryatid statues, and the Temple of Athena Nike
- Acropolis Museum: A modern architectural masterpiece that houses artifacts found on the Acropolis and offers a direct view of the Parthenon from its glass-walled galleries.
- Ancient Agora: Once the heart of public life, this site houses the exceptionally well-preserved Temple of Hephaestus and the reconstructed Stoa of Attalos / Museum.
- Temple of Olympian Zeus: Located in the city center, only 15 of its original 104 colossal Corinthian columns remain, but they still showcase the temple’s immense scale.
- Panathenaic Stadium: Built entirely of marble, this stadium hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896.
- Odeon of Herodes Atticus: A stunning 2nd-century stone theater on the slopes of the Acropolis that still hosts concerts and performances today.
Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens. This the primary Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Athens. Built between 1842-1862, this neoclassical landmark is central to national and religious life.
Plaka: The oldest neighborhood in Athens, located at the base of the Acropolis, known for its narrow, cobblestone streets, neoclassical houses, charming tavernas, and artisan shops. The miniature “island” village of Anafiotika is nestled within it.
Psyrri: The city’s creative heart, famous for its elaborate street art and murals. It is the go-to spot for “alternative” nightlife, featuring artisan workshops by day and trendy bars by night.
Athens has several distinct markets, with the most notable being the Central Municipal Athens Modern Market (Varvakeios Agora), known for food, and the Monastiraki Flea Market, famous for its diverse goods and antiques
Monastiraki: A lively district featuring a mix of ancient Roman ruins, Ottoman-era architecture, and a bustling flea market perfect for bargain hunting for antiques and handmade crafts.
Syndagma square: The heart of modern politics, featuring the Parliament and the Tomb of Unknown Soldier – Changing of the Guards and the “Neoclassical Trilogy” (Academy, University, and National Library s inspired from ancient Greek Architecture).
Kolonaki: The upscale district for modern Greek design. Visit Patriarchou Ioakim Street for high-end fashion boutiques and the latest in Greek jewelry and cosmetics innovation.

For Private Tours: Traveller pickup/drop off is offered from/to your hotel/apartment in/ from Athens centre up to 7 km, at the arranged time of your tour departure or your tour return. We recommend that the tour starts at 07:30 am or earlier in summer time. If for any reason this is not convenient, you can adjust the time according to your needs.
- Additional charge is applicable *25€ per way from longer pickup/drop off locations, more than 7 km from Athens city center.
- *Piraeus Port (distance 12km), *Piraeus Cruise Terminal (Distance 14km)
- This charge does not Include: **Airport (distance 36km) or **Lavrion Port (distance 75km) **This is under prior agreement with the agent’s office
You Have the options of 3 different Vehicles types: Price varies by Group Size or Vehicle type.
- Sedan (up to 2 adults + 2 kids – up to 10 years old free – Infant seat available).
- Minivan (from 1 to 7 persons – 2 kids/ up to 10 years old free. – Infant seats available)
- Minibus (from 1 to 14 persons – 2 kids/ up to 10 years old free – Infant seats available).
Your tour driver provides informative audio documentary & historical details as you travel.
Your tour is private & flexible and available from/ to Athens. However we only request to have in mind the agreement hours. But if you like to extend it, please make a fair arrangement with your tour driver/ leader. Additional charge per hour is 30€ (Sedan/SUV) – 45€ (Minivan) – 60€ (Minibus).

The following categories of visitors are entitled to 50% reduced admission in tickets:
- Senior citizens over 65 from Greece or other EU member-states, upon presentation of their ID card or passport for verification of their age and country of origin, during the period from 1st of October to 31st of May
- Parents accompanying primary education schools visits from EU member-states and the European Economic Area.
- Escorting teachers of educational visits of schools and institutions of primary, secondary and tertiary education from non European Union countries.
Cancellation Policy

Regarding the Daily Tours: Cancellations up to 24 hours before your travel date are 100% refundable as described on Viator/ TripAdvisor.
Cancellation Policy:
- Licensed Tour Guides are external co-operators & they have their own cancellation policy.
- Hotels/Bookings are external co-operators & they have their own cancellation policy and after reservation (Booking), refund is not possible
- Apart from the above cancellation limits, refunds will be made:
- If though, you fail to make your appointment for reasons that are out of your hands, that would be, in connection with the operation of your airline or cruise ship or strikes, extreme weather conditions or medical reasons, you will be refunded 50% of the paid amount.
- If your request cancellation date, for multiple day tour is over (3) months away from your reservation date, it has been known for third-party providers have their own cancellation policy, plus credit card companies, PayPal, etc. to charge a levy fee usually somewhere between 2-4%. Behind this there is a demand 10% of the total offer amount for the office service, which is not refundable.
- See All Views Travel reserves the right to cancel your booking at any time, when reasons beyond our control arise, such as strikes, prevailing weather conditions, medical or pandemic reasons, etc. occur. In this unfortunate case, you shall be immediately notified via the email address you used when making your reservation and your payment will be refunded 100%.
