For Private Tours: Traveler pickup/drop off is offered from/to your hotel/apartment in/ from Athens center up to 7 km or Nafplion, at the arranged time of your tour departure or your tour return. We recommend that the tour starts at 08:00 am or earlier in summer time. If for any reason this is not convenient, you can adjust the time according to your needs.
The tour driver is not a licensed tour guide to accompany you on your walk to Poseidon Temple or inside any other site or museum. If you require an archaeologist guide to tour the sites with you, you need to hire one additionally.
Your professional tour driver provides informative audio/ video documentaries & historical details as you travel.
What should travelers bring with them?
Gratuities in Greece? As the competition between companies and tour drivers is high, our offers cover our main costs (Fuels, road tolls, accommodation, taxes…etc). Tips in Greece, as all over Europe, are optional. However, a tip as a gesture of gratitude for good services offered is always appreciated. There is no standard amount, but depending on the trip’s total cost, this can range between 10% to 20% for transfers or daily tours and 5% to 15% for multiple day tours.

However we only request to have in mind the agreement hours. But if you like to extend it, please make a fair arrangement with your tour driver/ leader. Additional charge per hour is 35€ (Sedan/SUV) – 50€ (Minivan) – 65€ (Minibus)..

Summer opening hours (01/04-31/10): Open all days of the week. 01 to 30 April: 08:00-19:00, 02 May to 31 August: 08:00-20:00, 01 to 15 September: 08:00-19:30, 16 to 30 September: 08:00-19:00, 01 to 15 October: 08:00-18:30, 16 to 31 October: 08: 00-18:00.
Winter opening hours (01/11-31/03): 08:00-15:30, Closed on Tuesdays.
The Site and the Museum will be open on Easter Monday, Monday of the Holy Spirit, August 15 and October 28.
Closed on Holidays / only for Sites – museums. The wineries remain open but reservation/ confirmation needed.
