We visit Levadia Springs, Delphi archaeological site as travellers, not as tourists. We get as excited as you to travel, to enjoy the history, scenery and photography. See Photos/ Gallery.
The tour starts with convenient pickup from your location and takes you to Levadia/ springs (Explore at your leisure the springs of Remembrance & Oblivion). Continue via mount Parnassus to Delphi. The Oracle of Delphi was the most prestigious religious institution in ancient Greece, serving as the primary sanctuary for the god Apollo. Located on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, it was considered the “Omphalos” (navel) or center of the world.
Visit at you leisure the sites of Apollo and Museum as Athena’s sanctuary. Today Athena’s Tholos, three of its original columns have been re-erected, making it one of the most photographed ruins in Greece. Take a break for lunch in a restaurant balcony with a panoramic view of the olive grove valley and the Corinthian Gulf.

1: The Krya Livadeia Springs in Greece are a picturesque natural and historical site known for their crystal-clear, cool water, lush scenery, and rich historical significance, including the ancient Oracle of Trophonius.
Historical Significance: In antiquity, the springs were the location of the famous Oracle of Trophonius Zeus. The mythological springs of Lethe (Oblivion) and Mnemosyne (Remembrance).
2: Arachova: Perched at 973 meters on the slopes of Mount Parnassus in Central Greece.
Top Attraction: It serves as the gateway to the Parnassos Ski Centre, the largest ski resort in Greece.
3. Delphi. Apollo Temple and Athena’s Tholos. Located on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, it was considered the “Omphalos” (navel) or center of the world.
- The Pythia: The title held by the high priestess who acted as Apollo’s mouthpiece. She delivered cryptic, poetic prophecies (oracles) while seated on a bronze tripod in the temple’s inner sanctum.
- The Prophecies: Known for being famously ambiguous. A classic example is King Croesus, who was told that if he attacked Persia, “a great empire would be destroyed”—it turned out to be his own.
- Decline: The site declined under Roman rule and was officially closed in the 4th century AD by the Christian Emperor Theodosius I
4. Athena’s Tholos: Situated in the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia (“Athena before the Temple”), located about half a mile southeast of the main Temple of Apollo.
- Design: Built between 380–370 BC by architect Theodore of Phocaea using Parian, Pentelic, and Eleusinian marble.
- Significance: Symbolizes the “pre-temple” (Pronaia) area, welcoming visitors before they reached the Oracle of Apollo.
- Status: Partially restored in 1938, it is a highly photographed, key UNESCO World Heritage site.

For Private Tours: Traveller pickup/drop off is offered from/to your hotel/apartment in/ from Athens centre up to 7 km, at the arranged time of your tour departure or your tour return. We recommend that the tour starts at 07:30 am or earlier in summer time. If for any reason this is not convenient, you can adjust the time according to your needs.
- Additional charge is applicable *25€ per way from longer pickup/drop off locations, more than 7 km from Athens city center.
- *Piraeus Port (distance 12km), *Piraeus Cruise Terminal (Distance 14km)
- This charge does not Include: **Airport (distance 36km) or **Lavrion Port (distance 75km) **This is under prior agreement with the agent’s office
You Have the options of 3 different Vehicles types: Price varies by Group Size or Vehicle type.
- Sedan (up to 2 adults + 2 kids – up to 10 years old free – Infant seat available).

Your tour driver provides informative audio documentary & historical details as you travel.
Your tour is private & flexible and available from/ to Athens. However we only request to have in mind the agreement hours. But if you like to extend it, please make a fair arrangement with your tour driver/ leader. Additional charge per hour is 30€ (Sedan/SUV) – 45€ (Minivan) – 60€ (Minibus).

Cancellation Policy

Regarding the Daily Tours: Cancellations up to 24 hours before your travel date are 100% refundable as described on Viator/ TripAdvisor.
Cancellation Policy:
- Licensed Tour Guides are external co-operators & they have their own cancellation policy.
- Hotels/Bookings are external co-operators & they have their own cancellation policy and after reservation (Booking), refund is not possible
- Apart from the above cancellation limits, refunds will be made:
- If though, you fail to make your appointment for reasons that are out of your hands, that would be, in connection with the operation of your airline or cruise ship or strikes, extreme weather conditions or medical reasons, you will be refunded 50% of the paid amount.
- If your request cancellation date, for multiple day tour is over (3) months away from your reservation date, it has been known for third-party providers have their own cancellation policy, plus credit card companies, PayPal, etc. to charge a levy fee usually somewhere between 2-4%. Behind this there is a demand 10% of the total offer amount for the office service, which is not refundable.
- See All Views Travel reserves the right to cancel your booking at any time, when reasons beyond our control arise, such as strikes, prevailing weather conditions, medical or pandemic reasons, etc. occur. In this unfortunate case, you shall be immediately notified via the email address you used when making your reservation and your payment will be refunded 100%.
